Survivors – BBC TV

The BBC's revival of the classic 1970s post-apocalyptic drama by Terry Nation

Original Survivors in Sky’s top post-apocalyptic shows

Posted by Rich Cross on November 18, 2010

Sky TV’s celebration of six of the top post-apocalyptic shows features the original Survivors (alongside The Walking Dead, Firefly, Red Dwarf, The Day of the Triffids, and Battlestar Galactica (original series)).

Sky liked the description of the original Survivors found on this blog and the Survivors: A World Away site so much, they *borrowed* from it without attribution and claimed it as their own.

although obliged to pay a licence fee, I hardly ever watch any of the programmes on BBC, Survivors being one of the few Beeb programmes I really enjoyed.I was extremely saddened and angry to learn that good old Auntie Beeb did not intend to produce a third series. Television is producing so much rubbish now that it is scarcely worth spending money on a TV licence.Survivors had a unique story, with great characters, and had me on the edge of my seat throughout each episode. Please please please reconsider your decision, or I might just have to get rid of my television.
