Would like to be able to view series 2 of “The Survivors” on BBC Player. Will it be possible soon ?

Watched Series 1 & 2 on Netflix in Canada. Excellent show and worthy of a Series 3. Will be recommending it to family and friends to watch.

Searching for good story lines and acting seems to have become somewhat of an underground movement of folks independently searching shows out and recommending to family and friends. BBC TV has brought us some, if not the majority, of the great shows /series with superb actors. Hoping Netflix & Apple will seek out and offer us an alternative to the reality programming currently glutting cable TV programing, and that BBC will not follow the U.S. in terms of their move toward reality programming. It is a short-lived facination which quickly loses its edge and viewership.

A lot of us were raised with TV and we have become perhaps too attached to it. Within my own group of family and friends there does seem to be a growing dissatisfaction about program content and I do not think we are in any way unique in that regard. Interestingly to me personally, many young people (20’s and under) do not seem to subscribe to cable programming – preferring instead to search and and watch on-line their program of choice, versus paying large cable bills for programming “bundle” choices.

I hope BBC continues to produce and support quality actors and programing and to set the standard for others to follow.
